expedition bonus deactivation

  • when we deactivate an expedition bonus in one of the first three opponents, does the boss' bonus stop working as well?

since boss' bonuses are dependant on the collection of the previous three and bonus icons of bosses are not clickable, that would seem to be the case, but I'd like to be sure

  • HI :3

Yes, if you deactivate a bonus, that same bonus will no longer be active on the boss as well. In fact, you cant directly deactivate bosses bonus so that is the only way to do it.

  • why would anyone deactivate a bonus ?.

obviously not the drop, honor or gold ones, just the experience bonus - so that I could level up slower, thus getting more gold and items to smelt :)

Yes, very sure. And I advise you not to do that.

thank you so much for the proof

considering the above explanation of why I even asked this kind of question, why would you advise me not to do that?

  • If you are 120+, you shouldn't worry about leveling

If you are 120- and you don't want leveling, you shoudn't do expeditions (doing only dungeons will grant you a lot of golds and items for just a little amount of experience)

  • I'm familiar with the dungeon-only tactic, normally I do only them, but event items, scrolls, forging tools and goods(I mean during [micro]events of course) are only lootable on expeditions, so as rarely as I do them, it's quite nice not to get too much exp, especially when one knows how much of a challenge britannia is, so better later than sooner

I think that the thread can be closed, since I've found out what i had asked for, thanks everyone.

  • Tips: Event items can be obtained even if you loose on expedition, so you can just attack the boss without weapon to win the loot without winning experience
