is this The new normal?

  • So this is the new normal? Has the game basically become pay-to-win?

What’s even the point when a new server opens?

A friend of mine recently started playing because I introduced him to the game. Then he showed me a level 6 character with 90 base stats. That's absurd.

It really feels like the game has turned into a system of smurf accounts, or high-level players helping friends without any meaningful market restrictions. For example, I could list an item worth 1 gold for 100,000 gold, and my level 150 friend could simply buy it.

Now, if we're talking about a brand-new server where none of that exists yet, and you're going to tell me it's "just pay-to-win," then show me how. Let's say I buy Rubies. What exactly do I do next? Because even with Rubies, I don't see how someone converts that into enough gold to reach those kinds of stats at level 6.

Please don't give me the standard answers.

"Oh, he's just sending his character to work."
    "Oh, he's just selling fish."

You know there has to be something else going on behind the scenes.

  • You are allowed to list whatever you want at whatever price you want at the market.

That been said he can sell tools, selled something to any guild mate, or simply sell a lot of food over the years lol

You are allowed to use gold this way, so its nothing wierd.

My advice just keep playing and move on

  • I don't remember seeing level 6 characters with stats like that years ago when I used to play. Back then, part of the fun was the sense of progression and actually building your character over time.

But let's assume a brand-new server has just opened. How is someone generating that much gold so quickly if there aren't enough players around to buy expensive items?

That's what I'm struggling to understand.

I'm not trying to complain, I'm genuinely looking for a plausible explanation.

If the server is new, the economy doesn't exist yet. There aren't wealthy players buying overpriced items, and there isn't a mature market moving large amounts of gold around.

So where is all that gold coming from?

That's the part that doesn't add up for me.

  • User can have selled a gold tool for 50 million, as his level is 6 his stats are capped. Im sure you are able to max stats at that level cap (max 200) for around 100 million.

Basically is pretty common, people just nuy and sell, some people also play just in the ruby events to get ruby, on the tools event to get tools and sell them. Etc

Just dont worry if someone has invested 100 ruby into buying a tool and selling it, just focus on your self, buy centu apollo and keep playing , ull reach 100 soon :)

  • I think you’re overestimating how much gold is needed for 90 stats. It’s not that much gold, so it can easily be achieved through sales even on a new server. You don’t need rich accounts on the server for that.

  • i achieved over 90 stats on lower level being free2play without breaking old push rule because game is easier now, but it is true that many players simply buy gold from sellers (100kk is often around 10 dollar even on quite new server, on older its even cheaper) or use multiaccounts and literally boost themselves with their higher level main, nobody is even hiding it anymore and administration doesnt care it seems- i guess gameforge decided to just let things be as they figured cash is still flowing with minimal work on their side
people farming stuff on bot is another issue that nobody is trying to resolve at all, its 100% obvious which accounts are full farm bots and you could confirm+ban in literally 1 minute but the guideliness changed over the years and nobody cares for them anymore, just dead internet theory- kinda sad, but it is what it is

    Powodzenia!
