Can someone tell me if there is any use to those scrolls besides the gold they value ???

They are used for forging. As you can see most items in the game have a suffix and a postfix, like "Antonius short dagger of Assasination". You can forge any item in the game if you have the required materials and the scrolls learned which represent the suffix or postfix of the desired item. To learn a scroll just drag it onto the profile picture of your char.
I'd say forging becomes a big thing around lvl 80-90 and above. Bellow that it's not really worth dealing with it as you will progress so fast that you will have to change your equipment way too often to make forging worthwhile

Yea, most low level scrolls are useless.
