You just refuse to accept that there is at least 70% less crystals, amethysts, staminas and almandins coming into the game. The demand for these has not decreased as most of the items forged by these cannot be replaced by new stuff. Getting new oranges and reds is a middle finger until 150+ when you can truly utilize them.
If you played on an active server you'd understand. Material market has dried up as no one has spare materials to sell anymore.
I dont know if you are purposefully misunderstanding the point. On a dead server you migh go by subpar gear and be ok, but on an active one you need the best stuff, and it is not a gear full of for example tálith fortune. However you twist it, you require tons of tinctures of stamina and almandin around lvl 120-160. After the update those are near impossible to acquire. The demand has not significantly decreased but the supply has completely dried up.
Also players around 90-120 require a lot of stamina, crystals, almandin. Their drops arent good enough yet so they have to buy the materials, but now higher levels cant sell them as there is no supply.
Thanks for your input Bukanero and rollinpappers. I understand your points and agree its good that its not anymore simply lucius + best suffix, but this still doesn't fix the material problem. For example lucius inferno might still be the go to for maxing int even with tálith fortune. Sebastianus is still a very important prefix around 110-150, even gaius inferno is nearly impossible to get crystals for.
As you said after 160 it gets easier as you can actually truly utilize the britannia prefixes and suffixes, but before that you are still stuck with same old lucius sebas stuff, at least mostly.

After the update the loot in Britannia has shifted to being mostly new suffixes. Almost every single orange/red drop gives the same new resources and it is ridiculously difficult to source resources such as tincture of stamina, almandin and crystals from drops. Even when you get a drop with prefix such as Kork, which normally requires 20ish tinctures of stamina to forge, when it's attached to a britannia suffix it will drop 0-1 tinctures of stamina when smelted.
Suggestions:
-Adjust the loot pool to include more of the non-britannia exclusive drops. After the update drops such as lucius and porcius are basically nonexistent.
- Adjust item materials. Currently britannia suffixes cut 90% of the prefix materials. Balance this out
Thank you for the update so that we can get red items from dungeons. Could we have a filter for red items in boss item hiscores now as well? Currently there are filters only up to orange so red items are not really visible as they get lost on front page very quickly.
It's nice to have a big updates. Im happy about new dungeons, but i really wish they would have changed some stuff and not just add more with the same exact formula as before.
- Dungeon loot is absolute garbage compared to expedition. Loot is still 95+% green and blue even at 130+ compared to expeditions, where oranges and reds are quite common.
- UW2 costume is still useless. No gold loot in dungeons and items are low tier.
- Monthly microevents still mostly dont apply to dungeons. Why are tool, ruby and scroll drop events expedition only? When worse events apply to dungeons as well.
- New suffixes are full of healing and critical healing. Of course most can't be top tier, but nearly all of them are literally useless only giving lots of heal buffs. Basically zero damage and critical hit suffixes in the whole update.
