Heroes of Rome, lend me your ears: the day of the server merge approaches!
By merging provinces, we will bring stability to the Roman Empire and give them a new lease of life. Here is everything you need to know.
We will be merging existing communities into newly launched servers as follows:
- The destination servers for merges will be newly opened English servers.
- There will be servers for 1x, 2x, 4x and 5x game speeds.
- Players will be able to choose their own display and communication languages on the new servers.
- Merges will be grouped based on community and speed settings and done in batches, instead of all at once.
Name Conflicts
- Character Names:
If a name appears more than once, the corresponding character name will be given a code (e.g. Caesar will become Caesar#en20). Upon first logging in, you will then be able to choose a new name at no cost.
If you do not have a name conflict but would like to have a new name, you will also have an opportunity to rename yourself once for free.
- Guild Names:
The same rules apply as with the character names. However, Guilds will not be forced to change their names after the server merge.
Arena and Circus Turma
- The Arena and Circus Turma pots will be reset.
- Arena cooldown and attack protection will also be reset.
Reports and Statistics
- The following features will still be available on the destination server, but will not be migrated from the original server:
- Battle reports
- Statistics for first-time defeats of bosses
- 7-day highscores
- Recruiting messages
Centurion
- The Centurion periods will be extended by the duration of the server merge.
Market, Merchant, and Auction House
- Placed offers will still be available after the merge.
- If the duration of an offer expires during the merge, the items will be returned as a package.
- Bids on offers will be refunded.
- Items sold to the Merchant can only be bought back after the merge if the Merchant has not been reset during the merge period. If the Merchant has been reset, no buy backs will be possible.
