V české komunitě jsem byl přinejmenším 10 let, a tak jsem mohl za dobu její existence pozorovat věci dobré i věci špatné. Co však musím konstatovat, je, že za těch 10 let je tohle asi nejhorší věc, kterou mohl Gameforge udělat. Jako vždy bůhví odkud přišla zpráva, nikdo neví, co se děje, komunity jsou rozdělené, rozházené, ztracené, staré fórum div že ještě existuje, a to nové, z toho je mi na zvracení. Vzhled dělal patrně nějaký webový začátečník, jehož největší inspirace jsou zřejmě 90. léta, a funkčnost je na úrovni herního chatu. Gameforge si asi myslí, že členové všech komunit umí německy nebo anglicky, a patrně zde chyběla i jakákoliv diskuse se správci regionálních komunit vzhledem k tomu, jak moc zde jsou zastoupené. Je evidentní (i po změnách domén), že Gladiatus už je společnosti ukradený. Tohle byl další hřebík do rakve.
Na protest proti této změně definitivně vypnu svoje stránky Gladiatus utility, které jsem provozoval už 5 let. Tento víkend poběží naposled.

I have been a member of the Czech community for more than 10 year, so I had the opportunity to observe things that happened to the game, some good, some bad. However, what I must say is that after 10 years, this is the worst thing that Gameforge could have done to Gladiatus. As always, from who-knows-where came a message about this, nobody knows what is happening, communities are divided, separated, lost, the old forum is at least almost miraculously still online, but the new one makes me want to vomit. The design looks like being made by some web designing beginner, inspired by the 90s' websites, and the usability has the level of the in-game chat. It appears that Gameforge thinks the members of all communities know either German or English, and it looks like there was no attempt at discussion with the regional community leaders either, based on their presence here. It is apparent (considering the domain change), that the company doesn't care about Gladiatus anymore. This is the next nail in the coffin.
As a protest against this change, I am going to close my Gladiatus Utilities website (known only by the Czech community), which I have been running for about 5 years; this weekend for the last time.
