I think it's decided when you click finish and to send the contents to your Package system. This means that you can pre-smelt before the event and calculate it to finish at the start of the event. That's not confirmed by anyone but that's how majority of the players think it works.

Ok thanks, can anyone of the managment confirm?

Hi, I am not management but I think I can kind of confirm it. Based on the following:
The difference between forging and melting.
When you smelt something, you can cancel that smelting any time you want as long as you do it before the smelting timer ends. Which to me would mean that the system does not know what sources are you obtaining from that smelting until the smelting is done. And that is when you click Finish and sent to your package.
As for the forge, once you click "Forge" and it starts forging, the system already knows the result of that try, and even the quality. But is not going to let you know until the timer reaches the end. This is why Forges cannot be canceled. Because result is already compromised.
So based on that, Smelting results would depend on what the conditions are when the smelting is finished and you send your things to your package. -
wow nice worthy explanation, thanx

Because when you forge, you need support from 3 tools and it gives you a higher support realistic, and when you press the "forge", the tool will not be returned.
When the last seconds of the forging process are over, the system will update the forged data you have and give you results.

I dont really know if you didnt understand what I explained or I did not undertand your response. So I'm going to clarify.
To forge:
First, you choose the scrolls you want on the item, and the type of item. (Prefix, sufix, shield, weapon, etc.)Then you click on the "Cost" for using that forging space. (After you click that, at this point, you can cancel, but you dont recover the gold/rubies you paid)
Now you can put the materials needed for that forge in the spot until is full,l and also you can put in place the forge tools to modify the %.
(At this point, if you cancel, you get your materials back, and the tools stay in place, but you can just move them back to your bag if you want.)
Then, you Hit the Forge Button and the forging process starts(At this point you can no longer cancel anything. The process has started and there is no way you can recover any of the things you used)
And what Im saying is that the reason you cannot longer cancel that process is because the forge process has already started and game system already knows the result. whether you had used tools or not. So tools are completely irrelevant on the fact that the result is or is not already know by system. As for the Smelting, You cancel the process any time. Because "system" does not decides what you are getting as a result, until that process finishes.

And after the event +10% scroll.
Have you learnt it already? Any chance to screenshot it from the PC in better resolution?

Do you get red 99% of the time or what are you wondering about?

I think it's the percentages of 15% purple, 58% orange and 26% red that only add up to 99%, not 100%.

Ah... didn't even think of that.. but yeah you are right..
No it's not a bug.. they just don't show you the *,xx%.
-
Why only 99% ...?
It must be 100%.
-
.. the chance is 100% in total.
It's 15,xx%, 58,xx% and 26,xx%
The ,xx% combined makes the last 1% so it's 100 in total. They just don't show you the decimals..
