The last two years i have been working on a Gladiatus informational fansite. I've been withholding promoting it (not sure why) for far too long. I think people need to know about it especially when I've put so many hours sacrificing work and home to produce it. There is a steady stream of visitors already because the site ranks incredibly well in Google search on pretty much all Gladiatus related keywords but i am sure a lot of people have stopped even google searching gladiatus related info because for almost a decade there hasn't been one. The site has absolutely no commercial purpose and not only it doesn't make me any money but i actually have to pay for the domain and the hosting company to host it. So please don't hate on it (i've never seen hate so far but you never know) and try to be constructive.
So what do i have there that i think is useful to the general public. I know levels 120+ know more about me so i actually welcome contribution. I am almost level 118 so i am about to enter Britannia and will update info accordingly.
- Expeditions - All expeditions and all enemies with how much gold, exp, honour and all their stats. Most of all - what their item level drop range is (i am missing some info there so help appreciated). All countries except Britannia are completely finished. Soon i will enter Britannia and will do the first expedition but the rest - i will probably not visit soon
- Dungeons - This is what i am most proud of. I have tried to do a professional level dungeon guides and i am super happy to say that i have 24 out of 25 dungeons completely finished (except Alpha & Omega but i will do it soon when i hit 120)
- I show how the dungeon progresses
- What levels are the enemies and what item level they drop
- Bosses special abilities and screenshot of all enemy stats
- Example of a setup that defeats that boss so you can have an example in front of you on where you need to be to defeat the boss
- Events - A page where i show the calendar of all the big events that are happening. Also every event has its own beautiful page with info about that event and the enemies and rewards. I am happy to say that all of the events have their guides ready with the exception of Conquest for the source of the Rhine. I have it ready but i don't have the names of the expedition enemies there and unfortunately we haven't seen this event in more than a year so i can record it.
- Underworld - I have an underworld page which generally shows what the rules of the underworld are with some tips and tricks, all the costumes with their awards but with great detail and Normal, Medium and Hard guides with some extra info on the enemies there
- Costumes - All costumes with all their rewards explained with examples and screenshots
- Event Costumes - The same as normal costumes - Examples with screenshots so people can see what exactly this costume reward does as some of them are not very clear
- Game Guide - This is a huge page (almost finished) that has general info about the game. From beginner's stuff to little details that might escape even the advanced players especially all the formulas that i've put there. For example critical ratings, block ratings, stats, combat stats and so much more. Info on pacts, gods. Everything!
- Guild - I have a page finished on all the guild buildings, how many levels they can reach and how much they cost and what rewards do you get from them
- Mercenaries - I have details on every Mercenary out there with example stats
- Forging - How forging works - Materials (Forging goods), Forging, Repair, Smelting. Horreum, Forging Tools
- Items - Working on this page actually drove me insane. Item images in Gladiatus are actually one big file with all the item images in one big chunk. I worked on photoshop for hours to separate and extract each item so i have it as an individual image. So on the Items page i have all the items in the game presented there. From Weapons to Event items and even some unknown items from the files (help me identify them). And last but not least I have two very important subpages of the Items page
- Prefixes - I have an almost complete list of Prefixes and what is their stats, what is the scroll level, the prefixe level, scroll value in gold and what materials the prefix costs so you can actually use this info not only for Forging but for Smelting too. You want to smelt something to get a specific material in abundance? This page should help you
- Suffixes - This page is not finished i am afraid. The amount of time it took me to do the Prefixes page actually discouraged me to start the Suffix page. It's just insane amount of work. Apologies for that. I don't know when i will find time to complete this. It's literally hundreds of hours
I think i have almost the entire game captured and written about. Sorry if you see this as some selfish promotion, i actually feel bad lately about putting all this work on the site only to hide it or not show it to the general public. Please have a look at the site. I am sure even experienced players will have a use for it to go and check something every now and then, especially the prefixes page. Please let me know if i've put wrong info somewhere and let me know how to improve the site. Also if you want to put in the work and expand on the prefix, suffix page i am happy to give access to the site as collaborators. I have nothing to hide. The site is on Joomla and i've edited one of the default templates into a custom one for my own use.
