max stats

  • Hi,

I have been wondering about this for years now.

Why is the trainable stats limited to level*5?

Most players of higher levels reached this limit in all their stats, so no real diversity is present among the players.

Especially with the many practice events around, wouldn't it make sense to remove or extend these limits?

If we really want to keep some form of limitation, i suggest to have level*10 (maybe more?).

    Thanks for the read.

ps. I would imagine that this is not much effort to change on the dev side

    1. Be able to spend gold in a (relatively) meaningful way.
    2. Have something to keep up the motivation at the higher levels - goals to chase, minmaxing the character (maybe even planning or strategizing on how to reach them, thats the most fun for me in the game at least.), etc.
    3. Diversifying characters. Everyone's in all red with max stats, no way to improve on one another, only by xp, which is ... dull.

Now i know +50 agility doesnt matter so much when you are 1k+, but it matters a bit. And also it feels better to train for 50 agility than to go for 10 strength or something,

I personally enjoy making strong characters by my level, and this really hamstrings this whole thing around lvl120 or so.

Let me now flip the question. Why wouldnt you raise the cap? What purpose does it serve?

I described ways it improves gameplay, minor ways, for sure, in many players' eyes. But i dont really see any downsides in it.

  • I personally find reaching the cap at my level one of the few remaining exciting things to do, if you remove it for me with a twice as high limit, it just becomes unreachable and out of sight. I am level 137 and Strength is so expensive that i will try to max it out on the current cap.

  • I don't even know why this forum still exists lmao. The guys literally only use it to post notes just to keep the server online, and nothing else.

In an era where paying $20 for Claude could literally build a Gladiatus 2.0, they won't even try. A game with such a loyal player base that could easily bring in more players, yet it stays trapped in this state with broken items, rigged NPCs, and choked with limitations. Anyway, this thread will just be a tiny bit more storage space the devs will have to buy to host it LOL
