    My feedback on patch

Dungeon Rewards: I’ve noticed a big difference in gold, experience, and fame in dungeons. Really glad to see that my suggestion has been accepted and this change went through. Feels like a good improvement.

Boss Drops: I still need to run a few more dungeons to get a better sense of how much boss drop quality has improved. Would be great if others could also keep an eye on boss drops over the next few days and share feedback.

Prefixes/Suffixes: The notes mention changes here, but it’s not clear if it’s just names or if stats/resources were adjusted too. Some clarification would help. Can you share this info with us?

High-Level Updates: Since the other changes mainly affect players above level 250, I don’t have much to add on that part.

  • I also think that with this change UW Medium finally feels useful. The patch really boosted its relevance, and it looks like it’s coming back to life in a meaningful way. But I still need to make a run or two to be sure. I would also like to ask others to try it and come back with the feedback.

  • I see that red items are already dropping from bosses at a fairly early level. Orange ones too, from almost the lowest levels :)

  • I, as a 5x speed server player, I think this update can be harmfull for those are low lvl because you update so fast that you can not do the expeditions/dungeons nearly unlocked. For example, I arrived to Africa, did some dungeon/expeditions and i am already lvl 25, unlocking a new dungeon but i even do not defeat the lvl 20 dungeon boss. When i reach this goal, the drop from the boss is almost irrelevant in terms of items to equip myself, since that before this update, I dropped some good items in a good pace to equip and defeat the dungeon monster at my lvl. To get equipments to clear the dungeon, even more players will be against each other in the auction, spending more money in equipments than in habilities points, causing weak players compared to the older ones.

I created my account after a forge event, where the players at low lvl farmed a lot of forge tools and sold it to high lvl players, so, my only strategy was a slow push, avoiding lvl up so fast to, MAYBE, reach other player status when i reach their lvl. Now, with this update, its over.

If you guys could show me where i am wrong or another point of views, please, let me now!

As a suggestion, the XP bonus could be applied at advanced dungeons or starting in a specific lvl

Sorry my poor english, I am not a native.

  • Nothing about the update is really harmful to be fair. Lower levels on x5 are very irrelevant, especially below 100, you level up so fast these low lvl items don't matter that much, you don't have to be bothered about it. You shouldn't even be able to see 99% of them on the auction below 100-120 because the entry level for new suffixes is 85, for prefixes 155.

Dungeons waited for a proper update on their XP/GOLD scaling very long time, they require much more resources and points to complete and they should be much more rewarding than expedition mobs.
You should be happy you level up faster now, proper gameplay starts way above 100, where you gain access to Underworld and can finally farm decent amount of gold so upgrading your character becomes more affordable.

  • I got red drop from boss at "Storming The Coast", that is the lowest level dungeon in Britannia.

Since update, I managed to finish the dungeon run 3 times. So far I got 1 blue, 1 purple and 1 red drop.
Sample is still very small to make any kind of conclusion, but since I got red drop it looks promising.

  • Considering the drastic change to experience gained from dungeons, shouldn't the microevent be adjusted? Or was it intended? I mean, 200% for experience from dungeons and 50% for experience from expeditions, while dungeons now give a very similar amount to expeditions, feels kinda out of whack.

  • I swear no matter what they do now, there always be some people not happy. Why you so pressed about finally having xp gain in the dungeons?
It's still FAR from what you get from expeditions considering no pact, less points and less regeneration.

Expeditions are still on top experience and gold wise, even though they are much easier to farm and require 5 times less resources.
Even with that event I'm pretty sure the outcome will stay the same, expeditions > dungeons.

You have either people crying that leveling is so slow they will never reach level 200, or people crying leveling is too fast, just play the game and be happy for once

  • The new dungeon drop is... interesting.

The Corrupted World Tree with UW medium costume.

Btw. Is it intentional that UW medium costume doubles fame as well, without explicitly stating so? UW easy costume does not modify expedition honor afaik.

  • This loot looks actually quite bad, only one orange with UW2 costume at 140?... I expected way more. There are tabs where I have 3-5 orange items with UW1 and a red from time to time. I guess my point stands the same about UW2 costume, not worth using over UW1.

  • Well, interesting, not great, unfortunately. Definitely an upgrade over what it used to be. Blue minimum with a huge (50%+?) chance for purple.

I'm guessing we're gonna have to wait for possible new microevents to be able to fully evaluate the situation. Who knows, rubies in dungeons? Scrolls? For too long have dungeons been kinda forgotten. If they're willing to 'expedition-ify' them, who knows what's next in store.

Quite likely true in general, but there may be some niche situations when synergy with other ongoing microevents will make it worthwhile. Like, I'm guessing no one uses -50% quest cooldown everyday, but combined with a -50% micro it gets ultra powerful, so...

  • Considering how fast it was made, it is really nice completion of update before.

As for dungenons it was always more prestige thing than functional, it is nice to see change in it.

UW2 costume will stay useless, it would not be bad idea to add some stat to it etc. +% chance of higher quality of items what you can find, it would have more potential.

Overal i’m happy about last update, but there are still lot of things what should be adjusted or changed in game.

I remember from years before that auction had very big role in game, as for now unless you play on dead server so you use it for mercenaries or using it for packing, food it lost it’s function after 80lvl. It would be nice see some changes in it as well so players will start using it more. In years i saw maybe 1 item of purple quality there.

As for some visuals in game.

In victories, rankings we are stuck in time when red items werent thing in game. After years we still don’t have count of red items found, in HS of drop from dungenons you are not able search higher than orange quality, it’s time to update it as well.

Great job GF, but it’s time to continue :)

  • if leveling is "so fast" you can simply not play the game xD

the core of game is leveling and new update needed this adjustments, i am overall very happy with this adjustment. Must say dungeons are finally playable, and the new scrolls open a lot of options to game

  • What the... A ruby in a dungeon? What's happening? Is it some kind of a one-in-a-million occurence or does it have something to do with recent update?

That's nothing new. Rubin in the dungeons had been happening for a long time before that

As far as I can tell, the following drops directly from dungeon bosses:

from dungeon level 10 – even a purple item

from dungeon level 30 – orange

from dungeon level 70 – red.

I wouldn’t be surprised if red gear started dropping from the lowest-level dungeons xD

  • I crafted this item for level 110. It’s a massive step up from Vergilius in terms of healing. After the latest update, the healing points have gone up even more xD

  • It is true that we have faster regeneration of expedition points, and that we can buff them with pacts. We can not do the same thing for dungeon point and that implies that we spend more expedition than dungeon points per day.
I agree with you that GameForge should update or insert new pacts that will allow us to buff dungeon points as well.

But when it comes to gold earning I do not agree with you.

I do not know why people only talk about gold loot at expedition/dungeon when realistically what you get from them is gold loot + drop.
Yes, I know that you will smelt some of them (and that you will need to pay a smelting fee), and some of them can actually be used on your character. But I think that you will sell at least 80% of all drops because they are useless.

It is important to mention that drop rate in dungeon is much higher.

Bellow you can see my last 25 expeditions and last 25 dungeons. I can not upload picture of every single drop so you will need to trust me on math that I am doing bellow.

Expedition: 7 drops (4 of them are items, other 3 are forging resources).
    Expedition drop rate: 7/25 = 0.28 = 28%
    Expedition item drop rate: 4/25 = 0.16 = 16%

Dungeon: 22 drops (all of them are items)
    Dungeon drop rate: 22/25 = 0.88 = 88%

Expedition earnings: 351k (gold loot) + 81k (total drop value) = 432k gold
Dungeon earnings: 224k (gold loot) + 523k (total drop value) = 747k gold

That is 1.7 times more gold in dungeon than on expedition.
I said that we are selling around 80% of drops so adjusted values are:

    Expedition drops adjusted value: 81k * 0.8 = 64.8k

    Dungeon drops adjusted value: 523k * 0.8 = 418k

    Expedition adjusted earnings: 351k + 64.8k = 415k gold
    Dungeon adjusted earnings: 224k + 418k = 642k gold

That is 1.5 times more gold in dungeon than on expedition.

If you want to look from relative perspective (total gold per expedition and total gold per dungeon just divide these values with 25).

    415/25 = 16.6k gold per expedition

    642/25 = 25.7k gold per dungeon

In terms of gold this means that 10 dungeons = 15 expeditions.

After this update in terms of gold your statement that "expedition > dungeon" is simply not true. Yes we do more expeditions than dungeons, so there is a balance but right now they are at least equal.

I know that we can further discuss about drops level and color and what happens when you put on UW1/UW2.
And yes I agree that UW1 is still much better than UW2 (100% drop rate change the math above, but that math is still valid 5 out of 7 days per week).
