Between 10:00 and 11:30 CEST on 09.10.2025, we will conduct server maintenance to prepare for the server merges to version 7.0.2. The servers will be offline for a short time during this maintenance.

The merges will proceed a few days later. The exact schedule will be posted in this thread. Please note that the servers will be merged in stages, rather than all at once. Check out this thread to find out when your server is being merged.

Heroes of Rome, lend me your ears! The day of the server merges approaches!

By uniting the provinces, we will bring more stability to the frontiers, and breathe fresh life into the Roman Empire. In the following FAQ, you’ll learn everything you need to know.

We will merge the existing communities on newly launched servers according to the following rules:

• The newly launched destination servers will be global servers.
• There will be servers with 1x, 2x, 4x and 5x game speeds.
• Players will be able to choose their own display and communication languages on the new servers.
• The merges will take place in groups, sorted by game speed. We’ll proceed in stages, rather than merging all servers all at once.
• Please note that during the merge, all affected servers will be unavailable for the full duration of the process. Once the merge is complete, you can play your accounts on the destination servers, while the original servers will be closed.
• It’s possible that you will experience problems with enemies in the Provinciarum Arena and Circus Provinciarum, and in certain cases you may not be able to carry out attacks. This issue will rectify itself within a maximum of 24 hours.

Name Conflicts

---

Character Names

• If multiple characters have the same name, the duplicate names will be supplemented with a code (e.g. Caesar will become Caesar#123456789). When you first log in, you must then choose a new name at no cost.
• If there’s no naming conflict, but a player wants to change their name anyway, they can also do this once for free.

Guild Names

• The same rules apply here as for character names. Guild masters can decide whether to keep the original guild name plus supplementary code or to rename the guild.

Arena and Circus Turma

---

• The Arena and Circus Turma pots will be reset.
• Arena cooldown and attack protection will also be reset.

Reports and Statistics

The following features will be available on the destination servers, but content will not be migrated from the original servers:

• Battle reports
• Statistics on the first time bosses are defeated
• 7-day highscores
• Recruitment messages

Centurion

---

• Centurion duration will be extended by the duration of the server merge.

Market, Merchant and Auction House

---

• Listed offers will remain after the merges.
• If a listing expires during the merges, the items will be returned as a package.
• Bids will be refunded.
• Items sold to the Merchant can only be bought back after the merge if the Merchant has not been reset during the merge. If the Merchant has been reset, buy-backs will not be possible.

Registering on Old Servers

• The individual servers will be closed for new registrations 48 hours before the merge.

Vacation Mode

---

• Vacation mode will not be impact by the merges.

Deletion

---

• Accounts marked for deletion will no longer exist after the merge. I.e. if you mark an account for deletion before the merge, it will be deleted during the merge, no matter how much time has elapsed.

Note on Package Durations

---

• Package durations will be preserved during the merge, but they will not be frozen or extended.
• Packages which would expire on the day of the merge should best be collected the day before.
