Request for an International Gladiatus Server!

  • Message has written in All languages below

    Merhaba,

Açılan her servardaki oyuncu sayısı 10-30 arası değişiyor.

    Hello,

As a former Gladiatus player, I am planning to return to the game. However, instead of opening separate servers for each country, I believe opening a single international server would bring back many more players. Currently, each new server has only 10-30 players. An international server would make trading more exciting as well. I urge the management to take action on this. If you support this idea, please write "+" in the comments so maybe the management can hear us. Thank you for reading.

    Witajcie,

    Bonjour,

  • No matter if a new local server is coming up or an international server is coming out. They shouldn't come out as often as they currently do.

"I don't say I'm the best, I just don't think there's anyone better than me." Jose Mourinho ^^<3

  • I think we can try to come up with as many suggestions to improve the game as we want, but nobody really cares. I doubt that the developers or the management even read this forum, and the only real activity we see is about "microevents," "payment updates," and "big event announcements."

If people actually cared about the players, this forum would be more active — but that's clearly not the case.

This whole game is just about squeezing money out of old players. That’s why new servers keep popping up. “If I invest real money, I’ll become the best on the server — so I’ll join a new one for better chance.”

I understand that running servers and everything around them costs money, and that income has to come from somewhere. But when reports are handled with, “Sorry, there’s nothing I can do,” and communication on the forum is just player-to-player instead of player-to-admin.

I would love to have one BIG server (for each speed) for all players, but that generates less money in a free to play game like this one. Not going to happen unless they introduce more ruby spending options, but a "+" from me on a suggestion on the server topic nevertheless.

    @NoBodyKnowsMe

It's 2025 and browser games are not as popular as before and that won't change. People today will invest their time in Fortnite, PoE, LoL, Dota, Dark Souls and many many other games. Games like this are a dying breed, nothing we can do about it.

Given for example how a game like Travian is pay to win to the point where it's unplayable without money, Gladiatus can get so much worse if they wanted to.

It's very simple, they are a company and every company needs revenue to survive, if a project doesn't make money, drop it and try something else. That is how every game company in the world works. (not saying I like it, just how it is)

The reason (I believe) they didn't shut down Gladiatus is because it's cheap to upkeep and it earns enough money to justify it (trust me as soon as it stops, they are going to shut it down).

Admins on this game are NOT game devs and are voluntary (mostly current or past players of the game from what I know). They can ban/unban you and forward the info to GameForge if there is a topic with enough support (nothing more). So can you btw - GF EMAIL: info@gameforge.com (they are German)

Forums are for player-to-player conversations, Tickets are for player-to-admin conversations. (Not saying admins can't do it on forums, just that it's more intended for us.) Discord is more active than the game forums in general across all games. Gladiatus: discord.gg/tbEM9ZQ2ah

  • This goes without saying — browser games have long since become a waste of time, and what keeps people around is mostly just nostalgia. I pretty much agree with everything you said. But comparing Travian, Grepolis, etc. is like comparing two white sheets of paper… sure, you can argue which one is whiter, but it’s ultimately pointless.

What if we compared Shakes & Fidget to Gladiatus? I’d say S&F is probably the most successful browser game nowadays — just look at player activity, graphic and mechanical updates, Twitch streams, and so on. It’s a big comparison, yeah, but if you’re going to compare, you should compare to the best.

I'm not naive enough to think our talk will change anything — but wouldn’t it be nice? If the game came alive again and it wasn’t just about squeezing money out of people?

I get that admins aren’t developers and that most of them are just volunteers. But then I don’t understand why they do it. Because they love the game? Then why not just play it instead of siding with the devs?

If you stand on one side, then I’ll treat you as being on that side.

And yeah — if I saw even a bit of effort from an admin to make a change, it’d be a different story. But more often than not, I’ve just seen the response: “Sorry, there’s nothing I can do.”

Heck, I’ve even seen people get banned for being active in the game — and I’m 100% sure they weren’t using bots.

Bots in the game... that’s a whole separate chapter.

And this forum — why does it even exist? Why is it linked directly from the game? If no admin or management replies here? I see active admins on the forum every day, and yet they can’t be bothered to say even something simple like “Thanks for your suggestion.”

As for Discord — for me, it feels like an excuse. But okay, I’ll accept that argument. I’m not there, so I can’t judge the activity of the members.

  • They really should merge the old servers together. They can keep releasing new servers and merge them with time to the big global server.

  • Bence Asil sorun sunucularda bot kullanımı Şu anda Aktif Olarak Tr_63 te oynamaktayım bot kullanmayan oyuncularla bir ittifak oluşturma çabasına girdik ama ne yazikki bot kullanman adam sayıları sunucumuzda 10' u geçmiyor asıl buna bir çözüm olması gerekiyor şikayette bulunuyoruz adamlar göz göre göre oyunlarını bot ile oynamaya devam ediyorlar .

I think the real problem is the use of bots on the servers. I am currently actively playing on Tr_63. We tried to form an alliance with players who do not use bots, but unfortunately the number of players who use bots does not exceed 10 on our server. There needs to be a solution to this. We are complaining, and the guys are blatantly continuing to play their games with bots.

  • Of course there are botters — the gameplay loop is extremely repetitive, so it basically encourages people to automate things. On top of that, the Gameforge team just doesn’t have the resources to properly fight botting. And even if they did, it would still be very hard (or even impossible) to track every cheater accurately, because the game is so simple that it’s easy to make scripts or tools that stay undetectable.

    :!::!::!:

  • aslında tespit etmek çok kolay yüksek skordan girilip haftalık sıralamaya bakılsa normal insanın 1 hafta içinde yapabileceği saldırı sayısı belli adamlar haftada 10k saldırı yapıyorlar bunu 24 saat 7 gün boyunca uyumaması lazım bu kadar basitken bununla ilgilenmemeleri bir enteresan

  • Actually, if someone doesn’t have to work or go to school and can afford to play 12–14 hours a day (and there are quite a few people like that), it can look like a bot — and it probably is in some cases — but Gameforge simply can’t prove it. I also know some really hardcore players who played 16–20 hours a day for weeks just to stay competitive in another Gameforge game. For the company to develop reliable detection would require too many resources, so it’s just not worth it for them; they’d rather live with it. At least that's how I see it — not trying to spread false information. :)
