Daily arena attacks

  • I tried to read about rules and conduct and such.... i feel like im getting bullied.

Same 2 people attack me daily from 1 to 5 times per day per person. And this has been continuing for weeks.

And for some reason when i try to write them about how i feel like im about to quit because they are slowing down my progression the message box just says that these people can't be found!? Is this only because they are from other servers than i am? I tried to also add their server number after their name but it didn't help. Is there really absolutely no way to communicate?

I know stealing gold limit is 5 times per target per day. But is that also what you are supposed to follow? Am i supposed to pick on easy target i steal money every day!?

And since im active player i almost always have some gold.... if i just stopped playing my bank would eventually go to 0. This is why it feels so punishing to play. Because my activity feeds them.

"Just become stronger". Huh.. with what money? They are stealing my gold so they are richer than me and thus will always be ahead of my progression. Even if i become bit stronger they will become even more stronger. They are out of my league now even if i use gods.

Am i only here to suffer? Do i only exist so stronger people can leech my hard work!?

Is there anything else i can do?

Can these people be reported for bullying/targetting?

  • Hello Myllo,

looks like you have a problem with stashing your gold.

These attacks are coming because you are giving them so much money. Just think about it... only one click is giving them like 5 clicks worth of gold. They would be stupid not to take it :) I don't think It's targeting or bullying if you are giving them a reason

There is simple solution... find some active players, join their gild and start saving gold via guild market with other players (1 wood/ring for 100k gold etc.). After some time you will have all your gold on your hand inside your consignment. And after some time people will stop attack you because they will not get any gold out of you.

If you have any other questions please ask :)

    Have a nice day

  • Is the gold stash on guild personal? Is the guild leader able to just joink it from me? How can i find a guild leader that can be trusted? Only one person has ever invited me (that i know of... the messages are so easy to miss cuz they go on same feed as completing work so i may have missed others) but i didn't know i needed a guild.

I try to spend all my gold to training & smelting when possible but yes, i often have like 40k or something in my account. Still the arena battles don't save "5 clicks worth of gold"

Today 2 people attacked me on arena and got 600 gold each.

On circus turma same 2 people also attacked me and got 1200 gold and 2900 gold. That isn't that much tbh. I get 7000-9000 gold per expedition. I get more than 3 times more gold farming npc's compared to what my bullies get from arena attacks.(Edit: and these people are higher level than me and have better gear - so they hould be able to get even higher rewards from their npc farming).

Yes sometimes they have gotten more than 10k but i try to minimize that. And they STILL attack me.

Are you sure it is not bullying if they get less than 1k reward and STILL keep attacking me on daily basis?

  • Hi, Myllo!

First of all, I apologize for my bad English.
I would like to specify that its actually 5 timer per target per arena, so each one of them can leech from you up to 10 times per day (arena+turma).
It is not bullying, bullying would be if they are sending messages to you where they mock you. You cannot send messages to players from other servers unless you have a character in that server and you log with that character to message them (I think it was after lvl 5 or 6 that you can).
In which server are you playing ? Maybe you are not building your character properly in terms of stats prioritization, items, etc. If you have proper setup you could beat anyone in turma, unless its an alt character who is max stats and all pink+ items on all mercenaries. The first thing you did wrong (and you keep doing it) is not being part of a guild. Guild has many important features. The two most important ones are the training grounds (reduces the price of training by 2% per level) and medical center (if you are above level 100 you really need it because its one of the only two ways to heal your character while you are in the Underworld. The other way is to use a healing potion which drops from treasury chests).
If you want post a photo of your character and mercenaries (hide the nickname if you want). It would be easier for others to tell you how you can improve. I do not know how populated is your server but I can tell you from experience: I have a lvl 98 character and I have only 2 players (targets) in the provinciarum arena list. So I either have to say goodbye to quests and experience from arena, or I have to keep attacking them.
As for hiding your gold - there are a couple ways to do it.
    1) Use rings/amulets/scrolls: you keep a couple of those in your inventory, you sell them when you have expeditions/dungeon points, you train, then when you gather gold you buy them back 1 by 1 until you can sell them all again to train and repeat. This way you should not have more than 1k gold in you at all times (I do not know your level so it might be even lower amount it really depends on the prices of the items you pick).
    2) Use packages
    - We (in our guild) use two ways to store (package) gold:
    1) Individual packages - we ask in the guild for a package and someone sees the message and then makes a package for the specified amount;
    2) Guild packages - we have amulets and rings lvl 1 at a different price (unique price per quality and type) which are on the guild market for 24h. For instance: A blue ra's eye amulet for 100 000 gold. If I want to hide 100 000 gold then I will buy this package. When I do it - my gold is hidden and then I put the same jewel back in the guild market for 24h (might be less if your guild is very active or depending on the guild member's preferences) and then when someone else decides to pack his 100 000 gold he buys my package and I get my gold back and he then puts the jewel back for 24h at the same price and waits for his gold. This way the gold is never lost (the tax goes automatically in the guild's bank) and you always get your gold back within 24h. Now, it really depends on whether your guild is active, of course.

As for the messages: If you open the messages you can see the first tab is Overview. Click there. Next, click on Administrate folders. Then you can add a new folder by just typing its name and clicking Create folder. Then go back to the Overview tab. Click on Settings. There you can select what kind of messages to go into that folder. Below is an example of my folders' distribution:

The second way is more teamwork orientated and unless you are using the pact for 5% bonus gold when selling items then there is no reason not to chose it. It is important to stack gold for training events such as the upcoming one on the 30th of August (25% reduced costs for training). As for the trust - it goes both ways so if you do not trust others then how can they trust you? Guild leaders, of course, cannot take anything from you. Unless you voluntarily donate gold or put items in the Warehouse (which is used to give each other items/resources/scrolls/etc). And also, there is no reason for someone to risk his guild's reputation in order to take advantage of your gold. After all, a guild is as good as its members.
Best of luck with your adventures! :D

P.S. I would recommend using the extension gladiatus crazy add on if you do not. It offers a lot of useful settings which make your game experience less painful (such as viewing the auction's remaining time on top of your screen). Another cool option is to color the name of your prefered targets on the arenas so that you can recognize them faster. The people who are attacking you might have done this and thus they attack you as soon as they see your name (or rather the color of your name). But I would assume you do not have that many characters around your level in the country where you play otherwise you would not come up on their attacking lists this often.
