Did I miss something, that this year there was no forge helper event yet.
Did they just remove the event and don't have the balls to inform us ??

I agree with you. People are turning the crisis into an opportunity and selling maleficent for extremely high prices. This is not fair or reasonable. As players, we need this event.
They are shooting themselves in the knee
Some people don't spend money on rubies at all and this was the only option to forge anything. This is unlikely to encourage them to spend their hard-earned money on a crappy game, they will go away and find another free game....
they don't care about people's opinion, only what they look at is to grab as much money as possible, and set up a new server, unfortunately that's the sad reality.
Maybe they were surprised to learn that after fixing VPN security, their revenue dropped. 
And strangely enough, players from Turkey stopped buying rubies
They seem to have forgotten how the market works. When there were cheap rubies players spent them on stupid things, as a result they bought more of them

I would really love to know how much they lost since that patch because i think they lost a lot lot lot of money.
I would say, around 1/3 of their income

There's no need to start such a heavy discussion, nobody is making fun of you. This has been already forwarded to Gameforge and when we get feedback from their side, you will know (probably as event or not) as always.
